skyblock related math problem

ok so say I have point A 256 blocks away in a horizontal line from me
my max mana is 3000, however I have 500 when starting. My mana regen is the default. My AOTE costs 50 mana and I teleport 8 blocks each time, and I’m facing directly forward and straight, in the direction of point A
after the first teleport I am in freefall

I then ask;
what is the optimal spacing between AOTE teleports, such that I get to the coordinates of point A while having vertically fallen the least amount of blocks...
