'Last activity' not updated for some members

I think this is hard to debug, but we had a member that posted a message today, but the last activity was not updated?

Joined: Tuesday at 9:44 PM
Last activity: Tuesday at 9:44 PM

This user posted a message today: Saterday at 07:00 AM

What could be the reason for 'Last activity' not being updated?
Haven't noticed this before.
