Jamison England also known as 'FilmGuyJay' is an aspiring filmmaker from Prince Edward Island who recently gained traction in the local industry with short films such as Seen and the upcoming Deep Clean. While some friends of Jamison may describe him as "nice" or "even-tempered", an actor we spoke with paints a much darker picture.
According to our source, things were looking bright on set for Jamison's film Seen until he brought a new cinematographer on board. They claim that as production progressed the crew began to feel uncomfortable with the culture created on set by Jamison and his cinematographer.
Allegedly, there were multiple instances where actors were put at risk on set. Our source recalled an incident that occurred "where Jamison pushed our lead actress Madelyn into the snow, she slipped and could have broke her neck. This was encouraged by our cinematographer and they both just laughed about it".
Later, unverified reports began to spread on social media that accused the cinematographer of sexual harassment. Supposedly they were involved in a legal dispute regarding the copyright of their feature film, and other allegations of abuse have been made against them on social media. "They don't belong around professionals. They rope in actors to get involved with their projects and then expect way too much from them."
When pressed further about the negative culture surrounding Jamison our insider indicated that "working with England on a production is nothing short of dangerous, it's traumatizing and outright degrading".
