Facebook Intergration

I know there are how toos and other posts about this, but they seem to be way out of date. So when you try to add the FB login option, they want you to add a code snippet to the site, ( Facebook SDK for Javascript ), but which page do you add it too? or is there another way of doing this, because i cant see it?
