Do Goblin armor & Wither Cloak still work?

I decided to try goblin armor and a wither cloak sword for the terracotta phase, as I’m getting to f6. I used it outside of dungeons, without UltWise5. I put on the goblin armor piece by piece, swapping my mage set for it. I didn’t get damage immunity like I have heard it gives you (beyond the 5 hits), and my friend said it was the lack of ult wise. Is it no longer working like it used to or is it patched?
