"Can't play The Pit due to previous infractions"

Today I attempted to join The Pit and got the following message:

I looked more into competitive bans and discovered that they cannot be appealed so this is in no way meant to be an appeal, I'm just confused as to what happened here and if there's a way to get it undone

I have no hacked clients installed and never have had, and frankly I don't know enough about Minecraft PvP to know how to use any sort of manoeuvre that could have gotten me banned or broken a rule or falsely...
