HexRPG is a plugin that provides many unique features for players that want a bit of extra stuff to a server.
Are you bored of the vanilla Minecraft attack damage and bow damage? Do you want players to put more effort and time into your server to achieve the best items? Then this is definitely a plugin that you need for your server.
The plugin is compact, easy to use, an installation and tutorial and you are good to you, and don't forget about how cheap this is for what the plugin is offering you.

  • Custom stats on items:
    • Items will have stats on them or are 'Unidentified'
    • All mobs will have a chance to drop identification scrolls
    • There are identification and powerful identification scrolls
    • Dragging and dropping a scroll on a 'Unidentified' item will have a chance to give it stats
    • All possible stats:
      • Damage
      • Defense
      • Additional Damage
      • Health Regen
      • Additional Health
      • Durability
  • Economy system:
    • Uses 'Rupees' as currency
    • Can be used to buy tools from the Tool Trader NPC
    • Can be used to trade with players
    • You are able to save rupees on your personal bank
    • Can be exchanged for Rupee Bank Notes (A specified amount of rupees on a paper)
    • Players can open their personal bank by right clicking one that was placed by an admin using /Setbank
  • Crafting:
    • Right-clicking a Workbench will open a crafting window
    • Clicking some items will add them to the crafting window
    • On the bottom of the crafting window the result of what you will get will be shown.
    • The result are always 'Scraps'.
    • Scraps are pieces of equipment that you traded or smelted to later use it on equipment to repair, or smith items with.
  • Smithing:
    • Right-clicking an Anvil will open the smithing window
    • A hammer (bought from the Tool Trader NPC) is required to open this window (Will be configurable later)
    • Clicking an ore will smelt the ore down into scraps.
    • Clicking an item in any category in the smithing window will craft it into the clicked item with random generated stats.
  • Custom items:
    • Download the resourcepack at the 'Extra information' section to reveal the custom items in-game
    • The custom items can have stats on them
  • Custom mobs:
    • Has a lot of Health
    • Has custom abilities (video demonstration down below)
    • Can be spawned using /spawnblock (Full command is in the 'Commands - Permissions' section)
  • Tools:
    • Are only available at the Tool Trader NPC.
    • All tools cost 100 Rupees (Will be configurable later)
    • Tools can level up to increase their success rate (Currently not working 100%)
    • Current Tools:
      • Novice Pickaxe:
        • Use this pickaxe to break iron/gold ores and turn them into Scraps.
        • Broken ores will respawn in a certain amount of time (This is configurable!)
      • Basic Hoe:
        • Use this to break all sorts of farming blocks (long grass, carrots, etc)
      • Novice Hammer:
        • Is required to open and craft items in the smithing window
      • Basic Fishingrod (Not working yet):
        • Can be used to also catch random items from the bottom of the sea, like rupees and items with or without stats.
      • Basic Lockpick:
        • Is required to crack open the chests placed down by admins using /Placechest
        • All chests respawn automatically after restarting or after 15 minutes
        • The lock-code changes everytime you re-open the chest
  • Armor sets:
    • Wearing armor will give you different kinds of boost in-game
    • Leather till Diamond all have the same default defense, so all types have (without stats) the same strength.
    • Armor types:
      • Manacloth (Leather without resourcepack): Gives an unlimited level 2 speed boost
      • Chainmail: Gives an unlimited level 2 jump boost
      • Iron: Increases damage with 10%
      • Leather (Gold without resourcepack): Increases drop chance with 10%
      • Diamond: Increases defense with 10%
  • Player menu:
    • Right-clicking any player will open a 'Player Menu'
    • You can trade with players
    • You can duel players
    • And you have a chance of stealing items from someones inventory
  • Chat channels
    • Starting with a specific configurable character will send use the chat system in a different way then normal
    • (As default) starting with a '!' will use the global channel
    • (As default) starting with a '>' will use the selling channel

  • Purchase and download HexRPG.jar
  • Put the HexRPG.jar file into your /plugins/ folder
  • Reload the server and let the plugin load in
  • Open the config.yml and change the settings so it fits your server

  • Add configurable option to enable/disable different features of the plugin
  • Add configurable option to let admins create their own qualities
  • Add configurable option to let admins set the health and damage for each entity (monsters, passive animals, etc)
  • Add configurable option to customize the potion effect for each individual armor set
  • Make a language file where users can change all of the messages to whatever they feel like
  • Make the plugin 100% configurable (Currently 90%)
  • Fix bugs as soon as possible
  • Make that owners can customize the amount of scraps players need to craft each item in the smithing menu
  • Make that owners can customize the amount of rupees players need to buy tools from the tool trader (and upcoming NPCs)
  • Add wands with magic abilities
  • Important: Listen to the users that purchased this plugin their ideas to make the plugin fit every kind of user.

About the bugs and future of the plugin:
This plugins is in its early beta stages and has not all of the features in it. One of the features is the well loved MySQL. There are just a few minor bugs in the plugin is of what I have noticed and got reported from users.

Please do not hate me or give me 1 star because there are bugs. The bugs will be fixed after you have sent them to me in a pm.
