Why am i struggling to kill the t2 eman?

I've been trying to kill the t2 voidgloom, and all the guides i see say that i dont even need the stuff i have and they use super low req stuff and still survive.

Im using full SA and a livid dagger, leg wolf pet to spawn and epic eman to fight, voidwalker katana for the soulcry

I dont think its a skill issue since ive been doing loads during the fight like:
Using dragon shortbow and backing away to avoid damage during hits phase
Using wand of atonement for extra regen
Using voidwalker...
