Should I switch from Mage to Archer for master mode floors?

So right now I am a pretty average mage. I have a hyperion, and for armor wither goggles, storm leggings/chestplates, and maxor boots. I saved up a lot of money up to afford hyperion, going as far as to sell most of my NW when I bought it. My objective was to get this mage setup for Floor 7 and crimson isle, but when I played f7, I disliked the gameplay, because I feel like I have barely any mobility in the boss room and I dislike the puzzle part of the boss.
