Magic Toy Stick crashes on use

Hello Guys,
SInce I bought my Magic Toy Stick victory dance yesterday I realised that it crashes my game. Im playing on Linux and using Forge.

Here's the error I see in my launcher:

Error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cannot get property PropertyEnum{name=half, clazz=class net.minecraft.block.BlockStairs$EnumHalf, values=[top, bottom]} as it does not exist in BlockState{block=minecraft:air, properties=[]}
