for a boss that has been released for over 2 years you would expect the bug would have gotten a little bit of attention but nope
ashfang heals 2m extra hp because it simply wants to

I know how the healing mechanic works, it's not caused by me leaving blazes alive. If you look at ashfang's hp right after he heals from his summons, then a bit after he spawns them, you'll notice he'll have healed 2m hp.
