Hypixel unusually laggy for the past few days

So like yk, I live in australia, so ofc its going to be laggy, but these past few days the server has almost been unplayable for me. People have been lagging all over me, and i literally cant hit a single shot. Its not just me, its also my malaysian and asian friends. Did hypixel change to a sh*ttier server hoster or something?
In the meantime, can anyone reccomend any other bedwars servers? I need my daily dose of bedwars :/
