Help with Predev P3

Question to anyone familiar with pd, I'm just getting into it, and have a decent route/movement figured out, but I consistently get stuck on the gate stairs in p3. I have watched some guides on pd and in the guides the players are able to simply mine the stairs with a regular eff x pick and they phase into it first try. However, when I get to the stairs I am unable to easily do this, it often takes 20-30s of mining the stair with a non-ghost pik to get the phase, and while I can just ghost...
