Am I the only on who actually enjoys mining?

I will strip-mine for hours on end for the occasional dopamine hit of finding random resources, especially iron. I don't even use anything besides iron, and even then I just use it to make more pickaxes so I can mine more. Most of the time I spend in minecraft is just mining. Do neurotypicals do this?
